FACT Hires Executive Director

Sarah Brown has been hired as Executive Director of the Cooperative Congregational Studies Partnership (CCSP)/Faith Communities Today (FACT). Sarah’s professional experience includes extensive work with congregations and faith communities in an interfaith context. She has served as a contract consultant to the Center for Congregations, editor of the Congregational Resource Guide (CRG), website manager for Economic Challenges Facing Indiana Pastors (funded by Lilly Endowment Inc.), and an event consultant with the National Initiative to Address Economic Challenges Facing Pastoral Leaders (funded by Lilly Endowment Inc.), among a number of other nonprofit management and administrative roles. She also currently serves as Project Manager of a community-based advance care planning initiative in Vermont. Sarah holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She will be working to transition CCSP/FACT to a new governance structure, leading day-to-day program activities, and expanding the capacity of the partnership as a relevant research-generating entity.
