The Orthodox Church

The Orthodox Church Faith Communities Today participation was a joint effort by multiple Orthodox groups coordinated by the Standing Conference of the Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas including:

  • Albanian Orthodox Diocese of America
  • Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America
  • Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Diocese of the USA and Canada
  • Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese of the USA
  • Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America
  • Orthodox Church in America
  • Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese in the Americas
  • Serbian Orthodox Church in the USA
  • Ukranian Orthodox Church

The joint Orthodox participation in the FACT 2000 project included a survey of churches randomly chosen from a listing of Orthodox congregations in the United States. A total of 346 questionnaires were returned. View the version of the questionnaire used by the Orthodox Church.

If you are interested in obtaining specific information about the results of the Orthodox Church survey, please contact Alexei Krindatch, research coordinator with the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of North and Central America or visit his site dedicated to Orthodox Church research.

Several individuals were involved in collecting the 2000 Orthodox information. The researcher collecting the 2005 and 2010 Orthodox material was Alexei Krindatch.
